Who we are
This policy applies to 698324248 PTY LTD (ACN 698 324 248), registered in Australia, and to this website at fjolskylduoryggisverndar.com.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We publish this policy whether or not the Act's small-business threshold applies to us, because counterparties in Australia and in Southeast Asia ask for one before they trade.
What we collect
- Information you give us in an enquiry: your name, company, work email, phone or messaging handle, and the commercial details of what you are asking about.
- Information exchanged in the ordinary course of a transaction: contact details of your staff, brokers, banks, forwarders and inspection agencies.
- Technical information your browser sends when you load a page — IP address, user agent, referring page — held in standard server logs.
The enquiry form on this site does not post your answers to us or to any third party. It assembles the text in your own browser for you to copy and send through whichever channel you use. Nothing leaves your device until you send it.
Why we collect it
- To quote, contract, ship and invoice.
- To meet export, import, customs, biosecurity, sanctions and financial-record obligations in Australia and in the destination market.
- To keep the records Australian law requires us to keep after a transaction closes.
Disclosure, including outside Australia
Cross-border trade cannot be performed without disclosing information across borders. In the ordinary course we disclose transaction contact details to freight forwarders and shipping lines, customs brokers, banks and their correspondents, inspection and certification bodies, insurers, and government authorities in Australia and in the destination country.
The countries to which information is most commonly disclosed are Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines and Brunei Darussalam. Some of our service providers — including email and document storage — process data in Australia, Singapore, the United States and the European Union.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose it for marketing by anyone else.
How we hold it
Records are held in access-controlled systems with encryption in transit. We keep transaction records for as long as Australian tax, customs and corporate law requires, and then destroy or de-identify them.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics or remarketing pixels. Your language preference is stored in your own browser using localStorage so the site remembers it on your next visit; it is never transmitted to us. Web fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which will see your IP address as part of serving the font file.
Access, correction and complaints
You may ask us for the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Send your request using the contact route below and we will respond within a reasonable period, normally 30 days.
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, tell us first — we would rather fix it. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always the one published here, with the date shown above.
